Raw Material For Coal on Earth2

Welcome to the Earth2 raw material for Coal, the prime Jewel Anthracite, and the prospecting Cydroid Fury.

Just below, we'll explain as much information when it comes to the resource Coal, the prime Jewel Anthracite, and the prospecting Cydroid Fury.

Information regarding Coal below

Coal's related building blocks

Coal is a sedimentary deposit composed predominantly of carbon that is readily combustible.

Coal is formed when dead plants, dirt and forms to make peat. The peat is compressed to form lignite, and with further compression, forms bituminous and subittuminous coal, eventually forming anthracite over millions of years.

Coal is mostly known for burning and turning into energy, and commonly known for producing heat in fires, however, coal these days is more known for producing electricy, however, there are many uses for coal you may not know of. To get a better understanding on what they've been using for in recent years, here is a video you can watch Using Coal To Generate Electricity.

Looking a the card in the image, you will see that earth2 includes thermal coke, specialized coke, polyethylene and ammonia, and to be honest, I wouldn't of expected any of these, and maybe I can learn some cool new stuff.

To better understand thermal coke, you'd be better watching a vide, and here we include a video about thermal coke coal which is similar to the link to the above video, but given another angle, and maybe a different process.

There isn't much about specialized coke, however, there is something mentioned about heat resources that uses coal coke in metallurgical properties.

Polyethylene is normally produced from crude oil or natural gas, however, the ethylene the product comes from, can be produced from non-fossil, plant based carbone sources, and this is where Coal comes into it.

Another product that related to coal, is Ammonia, which is produced for production of fertilisers, plastics, synthetic fibres, dyes, explosives and pharmaceuticals, however, it may be worth noting that about 80% of the ammonia produced by industry is used in agriculture as fertilizer.
