Raw Material For Sand on Earth2
Welcome to the Earth2 raw material for Sand, the prime Jewel which is also known as the Sand Jewel, and the prospecting Cydroid Moleh.
Just below, we'll explain as much information when it comes to the resource Sand, the prime Jewel also called Sand, and the prospecting Cydroid Moleh.
Information regarding Sand below
Sand, one of the most abundant resources in the world, as it's been coming down the mountains for billions of years in rivers, where you can find sand around coastlines.
Sand is believed to originated from the stoney mountains and brought down via the rivers, which is one of the reasons why you can find sand at the bottom and the banks of the river beds.
From the rivers into the sea, the sand then make there way to the first coastline closest to the river, and over time, the tides and ocean current can carry sediments from meters to kilometers at a time, which is how you will find beaches are evenly made up, but not all beaches are the same, due to the way the tide acts.
Some sands, specially the ones in the deserts can not be used as building materials, as many sands over time can arrode, for the reason many cities near the deserts have to import sand in, sand that has been protected over time, specially the best sand that sits in the river beds.
Sand quality can change from one area to another, just like different rockery can change from one mountain to another, afterall, the said said in one area, would've had to come from the mountain, and where certain enriched sand is found in one area, that can suggest a mountain being enriched in the said minerals.
Some people may wonder if we have sand at the bottom of the ocean, and the answer is yes and no, but in most area, the grounds are mostly made up of other sediments, as ocean currents don't normally push the sand to the centers of the ocean, but the costlines instead.
I've included a video for this page all about sand and it's construction, which I will call 5 facts about sand, similar to it's title on the video.
So looking at the card, we have clay, fiberglass, reinforced glass and silicon.
I'm not 100% sure where the clay comes from unless it is something that is just mixed in with the sands, which is completely understandable, or maybe it is a certain clay mineral that is obtained from the sand, which is also possible.
Fibreglass is a form of glass when blown into fine fibres, and to get a better understanding of fibreglass and what relations fibreglass has with sand, here is a vide which I will call sand to fibreglass.
Making glass out of sand has always been a curiousity of mine, but a curiosity I've not really looked into until now due to the fact that earth2 has brought out the resource, so I felt the need to look into how glass is made, and interestingly enough, to make glass, you need a quality sand knwon as Silica sand, which is produced from both loosely consolidated sand deposits and by crushing weakly cemented sandstones. Sandstone is made of sand grains (0.05mm to 2mm) that may have been deposited in the sea, by rivers, or in deserts, and later cemented together by minerals precipitated from groundwater.
Here is a video that I will include, one of the most facinating videos I've seen todate, something I've definately learnt from, one that I will call sand to glass, which I definately recommend you watching. Just below is a list of materials, I will include that was in the video.
- Sand From Riverbed
- Sodium Carbonate
- Sodium Sulfate
- Gypsum
- Calcite
- Nitric Acid
Have you ever wondered why some or more glass companies are making glass that breaks into small pieces, well here is a video that explained that which I will call small broken glass.
Silicon can be found in sand, and like any sand comes from a specific rock, one that can either be filtered from the sand, or grinded from the rock directly. To get a good understanding for silicon, here I will include a video which I will call rocks to silicon.
If you're looking to find sand for E2V1, you could choose beaches, riverbeds, and at present in 2023, all you need to do is slot the prime Jewel sand into your property to get the sand resource, as easy as that, regardless of where your property is in the earth2.
