Thorium has the periodic symbol of Th and traces are found in soil, rocks, water, plants and animals, and is a natural occuring radioactive metal with the periodic number of 90.

Thorium is used for camaras, welding rods, telescopic lenses, aerospace, nuclear reactions, and has the potential to be used as a fuel for genertion nuclear energy.

As shown in the video, the resoruce Thorium has many relations with Uranium, which may be of some interest, but to know more, make sure to watch the video.

Currently, thorium, a radioactive element, is produced as a byproduct of monazite from mineral sands. Monazite is generally produced to recover rare earth elements (REE) that are used in alternative energy sources, such as wind and solar.

Looking at the earth2 card, you will notice that we have YTTRIUM Stablilized Zirconia Glass, XLPE Insulated YBCO Power Cable, YTTRIUM and Thorium Rods, keeping in mind that this resource is very similiar to Uranium, but a more saver option.

YTTRIUM is normally used as an additive, and in this case, it seems to be suggested that this resource is an additive towards YTTRIUM Stablilized Zirconia Glass, but could be an additive for many other things, which I expect to cover in another article.

XLPE Insualted YBCO Power cable, the XBCO stands for Cross-linked polyethylene and the YBCO stands for Yttrium barium copper oxide, which is content for a high temperature enabling cable, which suggests this type of camle could be used for industrial purposes.
