An Oil is a nonpolar chemicle substance, composed primarily of Hydrocarbons and hydrophobic and lipophilic. Oil does not mix with water, given one of the reasons you shouldn't use water to try and put out an oil fired burner, and even worse, water can carry oil causing the spread of fire.

Oil can be used for many things, one being as a mineral, for health reasons, and the other being a fossil fuel that creates energy in automotives, and many other uses.

In the image we have to the left of us, we have paint/PLC, we have ethane and Butadiene plus carbon fiber, so as we have these materials on the earth2 card, lets look at these.

Oil is a well known subtance used in paint, so if you ever wonder where paint comes from and what is used within paint, then the answer is likely to be Oil.

Ethane used very similar properties to Oil, however, ethane does come from the same place, similar to Butadiene, and is used for heating and other energy sources for power, such as automotives.

Carbon fibre is made from organic polymers. These polymers consist of long strings of molecules held together by carbon atoms. Carbon fiber is a material made from thin filaments of carbon atoms bonded together in a crystalline structure, which results in an exceptional strength-to-weight ratio, which can become very useful as to build materials which can be used in both component and mould making applications.
